Mylan Classic - Round Three

Boy...we had a good time out there today. I had a friend, Jeff Faria, drive all the way down from Canada to watch us play. Teed off at 11:44 with Jason Gore and Rocco Mediate. Kevin started the day hitting a perfect tee shot off of number one and never looked back. The weather conditions were tough with the wind gusting up to 30mph and swirling. It was the toughest scoring day on the Nationwide Tour this year with a stroke average of 2.9 over par for the entire field. Kevin managed his game, stayed patient, and tied the low score of the day (68). Rocco Mediate spoke to Kevin after the round and told him how impressed he was with his game and told him not to change a thing. I thought that was pretty cool coming from a man that almost beat Tiger Woods in a playoff a few years ago at the US Open.

After the round we practiced putting for a few minutes. The green speed was faster today so Kevin just wanted to work on his speed. It was a short session since he was tired and hungry.

We tee off tomorrow at 11:30 in the second to last group. Kevin is in 3rd place, 3 shots off the lead. Coverage on the Golf Channel starts tomorrow at 1pm - 4pm. If anyone can't sleep tonight...The Golf Channel will air today's round from 12 midnight til 2pm.
